TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
Regular Membership
Anyone upon whom Jackson State University has conferred a degree or anyone who has completed at least one semester and who has paid his/her annual membership dues is considered a regular member. The National annual membership fee is $50.00 and annual local fee is $40.00.
Associate Membership
Associate members shall consist of those persons who have not matriculated at JSU but desire to pay the appropriate annual dues and pledge their allegiance and support to Jackson State University. The annual membership fee is $50.00.
Life Membership - National
Life membership shall be granted upon: (1) submission of an application and (2) payment of the $500.00 life membership fee to the association. The requirements for regular membership also must be met. Applications must be filed through a chartered chapter of the association whenever such a chapter exists or with the national office.
